i was talking to my friend how each year the christmas spirit seems to be more depressing. where has it gone? well, you make it how you want it to be. all my christmas memories seem to be the strongest when i was around 5 - 12 years old. it all went downhill once i found out santa claus was my dad. hopefully this year and the years on from now, i can slowly bring the christmas spirit back.

when did the roles reverse? since when was buying airplane tickets through a travel agency cheaper than buying online? that is one retarded scam the online agencies are trying to pull. on average, its about $1300 for a roundtrip flight to hong kong booking through the internet, while the travel agency charged $800. what a steal! so im excited to be spending the new years in another country, although i do also wish i was with my family and friends. it will be my first time observing how my chinese people celebrate it. just imagine counting down in cantonese, haha. i have no doubt that it will be one of my most memorable yet.
