im done with school! although i really liked school, my brother said i was wasting my time. so i guess ill listen to my brother. im both sad and happy because im going to miss cal fullerton, but happy because i do not have to take another test. i wish there was a school where you just attend class, and not have to take any midterms or finals. that would be perfect. this doesnt mean im over with tests yet. i still have 2 more major tests i have to take for work: series 66 & 7. these 2 licenses are a pain in the ass, where thinking about them makes me want to cry. if my brother could do it, i can. the only difference being my brother never left his room for a year and i have A.D.D. where i cant focus on something for more than 20 seconds.

mayweather vs. de la hoya

the last boxing match i watched live on TV was the tyson vs holyfield fight, where tyson decided to eat holyfield's ear. after that happened, all hell broke loose and the fight was never really concluded. this time during the mayweather/de la hoya fight, i actually had a chance to take everything in; watching the fight at a house party, where fans of both fighters are going crazy and getting obnoxious. mayweather and de la hoya are pretty much even, but with mayweather being younger and having a perfect record in the sport, i had a feeling he was going to take the edge. during all the 12 rounds, i noticed de la hoya being really conservative in his offense, but got really aggressive during the last 30 seconds of each round. although he was aggressive during those last seconds, it was very sloppy, like a woman trying to slap a man with both hands. mayweather, looking as if he was being chased around the ring, was actually using this tactic to find opportunities to land clean punches. and it worked. every so often when oscar had his guard down, boom,he would get a clean punch from mayweather. i also noticed mayweather hopping around like a monkey and frequently, he would let both gloves hang next to his side, enticing de la hoya and resembling how a typical street gangster would fight. then out of the blue, boom! a punch would come out of nowhere. could this have been a mental trick? possibly, distorting de la hoya's focus.

both fighters were careful during this fight. they had to be because they both knew neither of them was going down and that it was going to be a decision fight. so it was down to this: to see who could land more quality punches and be the smarter fighter.
