woke up early monday morning to have lunch with julia. what a fucking awesome place to work at, right in the heart of beverly hills, on rodeo drive. you can see stars, sights, and just beautiful people. it reminded me of the movie "pretty woman". i realized there are more bentley GT's than honda civics and to finish off the day, i spotted an SLR McLaren. i decided to be a tourist for the day so i whipped out my camera. i love LA!

after hearing all these good reviews and awards handed out to brokeback mountain, my friend (a female) and i decided to watch it. what i really wanted to see was jake gyllenhaal kissing heath ledger but, there were more! the movie lacked many conversational aspects a typical love story would have between 2 people, but for some reason, you can tell the passion was built between mutual "signs". other than that, i loved the scenic views of the rocky mountain wilderness the movie had to offer. not to go into futher detail until you watch it.

being in hollywood, homosexuality is pretty much a norm here. when those love scenes between the 2 cowboys came on, i am almost certain that me and my friend were the only ones in the theater who gasped in a crowd of silence. i mean, not that we are homophobic, but seeing jake gyllenhaal making passionate love with heath ledger in front of the world was shocking to us; two, straight, sex symbols women drool over.

it seems that anything controversial makes the money in the entertainment business. but its to see who has the guts to come out with it first. a do or die situation.
