job hunting sucks. like my friend says, finding a job is easy, but finding the right career is tedious. it could take up to months finding a career that you are content with and can stay with for long term. this is mostly true for us business majors because we knew this day would come to us right from the beginning. i had 2 choices i could have either made: medical or business. each path has both advantages and disadvantages where i saw through my sister and brother. in the medical field like my sister, the advantages can be tempting. the job is stable nevertheless if the economy fluctuates, you can take long vacations, you get benefits, your salary starts at 80K, and relocating to a new facility is easy. but if you are looking to grow in that field, it could mean back to the books. like my brother in the business field, i saw him rise from being a laid-off computer tech to an investment banker in 2 years. one thing he said really captured me: in business, the sky is the limit. you are not capped at a certain salary, you can be your own boss, and your salary is the determined by how hard and intelligent you work. unlike medical, for example, if one day you dont treat as many patients or they have stopped coming in, you will still be paid 80K. but in business, lets say you lost a couple clients one month or was given a bad rep, you can be living off ramen for that month. i may be exaggerating about the ramen, but this gives you an idea of how each field compares. either or, both paths has its positives and negatives, but looking at the big picture, it is the business tycoons that tops the forbes list. most importantly, go for what you would like to do and dont look back.

i have 2 tangerine trees right outside my window. it was given to us by my grandpa. ive watched it grow from a foot tall to now of about 15 feet. couple months ago, a papa bird and a mama bird started to live in it. so when i was studying i would see them fly in and out of the tree. that didnt bother me. not until they started to have baby birds recently. these baby birds would start to cry at 5:30 in the morning and continue to cry sporadically till sunset. if they were songbirds, i wouldnt be annoyed as much, but these baby birds intermittently belch out a sound that resembles a piece of chalk screeching on a chalkboard. i dont want to evict them from their home, so im going to relocate to my brothers room to sleep until they are old enough to fly away.
