today i went snowboarding with 2 buddies of mines from my old high school. although i dont like boarding in the local mountains, i had to take advantage of the 2 feet of brand new snow that had fallen for the past week. this could possible be the last winter storm that will ever hit so cal this season. it was nice taking the lifts up to the top and seeing the trees blanketed with white snow. after about 10 runs with my friend, he went off this huge jump and leaned forward too much. the next thing you know, he was on the ground holding his head saying it hurts. if i were to rate it 1-10, 10 being bad, id give it a 9. yea, i was bad. i can describe it as a face plant, endo, or head dive. he got up and tried another jump, and just lost it. he couldnt concentrate. then he continued following me down and the next thing i know, i lost him. i went back up myself assuming he went down to the bottom to take a rest. later then, i found my other friend. for the next hour or so, we never saw him on the slopes so we went down to the bottom also. we found him standing up holding his board. i called him and he was surprised to see us. he was like "hey you guys are here!" and continued to ask us who we came up here with. we thought he was joking around and playing dumb so we played along, "we came with blah blah." he was like oh cool and asked "who did i come up with?" we still played dumb and to the point when it got annoying we told him that it was time to leave. he asked why. then we figured he has minor amnesia. i didnt trust his driving so my friend took over the wheel. he kept on asking: what day it was, where he was, why we went with him, who else was here, what time did we go boarding. these questions were asked continuosly till we got home. then he forgot why he was in the car. it was weird. i tried to tell him he owed me $25 and dinner, but i felt bad.
i must sleep now, gotta wake up tomorrow to find some dinosaur bones.
