i am one step closer to becoming a DJ. randy got me a new sound system and ableton LIVE! as of now, ill just be a laptop DJ.

spontaneously, randy and i went to the stevie nicks concert tonight at the universal amphitheater. we had pretty awesome seats close enough to smell her sweat. too bad it was overpowered by the man sitting next to us with halotosis. his breath was rockin and his wife was not even affected by it. i was dying as the draft of the AC brought it to our noses the whole night. vanessa carlton opened for stevie nicks and her whole set was acapella. just her and her grand piano. listening to her songs makes me wanna play piano now. as a matter of fact, the first piano song i learned by ear was her song, "a thousand miles". but learning by ear sucks cuz you dont know what keys are which and you are stuck with playing that song.

i had dinner that night and after didnt know what to do. my cousin and his gf were still under 21 and it was hard finding a place to dance. i had to do some last minute planning on tranceaddict and found a hole in the wall out in san bernardino. i heard tania mann was spinning that night so we went to check it out. she is such a classy aussie DJ. tell me who spins with perfect french made nails and always sportin a grin?
