i couldnt sleep last night. i was too excited about the interview. yea sure, i hate interviews. i just layed in my bed and answered to myself every possible question the interviewer could ask me. it turned out that i was interviewed first by a friend which was a joke and then the 2nd interview was basically listening to what the branch manager had to say. i didnt have to do much talking. what a waste of time preparing lies. she went over how much we get paid and such. after that she invited me to the company. everyone in the office is under 30 and willing to make money. i just so happen to be the youngest person ever to work there. i start training next week and i will be officially getting paid on october 1st. it is not an easy job. each table is your store and i am my own business. i am given the priviledge to so-called rent out a table and make my money.
to give you an idea of the place, as i walked in, i can literally hear a pin drop. i see my friend playing pinball on the computer and there is a half finished pack of doublestuff on the break room. the office is brand new with the smell of wood from the new redwood desks. the network has barely been up for a month and the branch is unknown to many people. right now there are only 3 of us in this one big room (not including me) who will be the majority of the workforce for the next couple of months. so far the branch has reached a volume of 2 million bucks this month. pretty good for 3 people. there is an IN n Out right in back of us and speedzone across the street. we basically work on restaurant row. the parking lot is full of nice cars except for mines.
my car is now a senior citizen. it has reached a mileage of 100,000 miles. there are no signs of mechanical failure, the motor still runs good and roars like a lion. i cant believe a ford can last so long. im young, asian, and driving a domestic. those 3 factors should easily cut any vehicle's life in half.
