saturday morning, i woke up at 9am to help phillip move his room from downstairs to upstairs, and one room to another. 4 rooms were emptied out and re-furnished. phillips punk rock room, now became a computer/study room, still with all the flyers and gigs on the wall and the master bedroom is now just a room with a mattress lying on the floor. the computer room is now an office and phillips room next door became the master bedroom. i felt like crap that day because i had only 4 hours of sleep, but after a quick break at Mcdonalds and a death defying spin-out on the viper, i was up and going again. the most memorable feat was when we had to move this 400+ lbs old chinese redwood table to another room. there was one problem: when the chinese made this table, they didnt take U.S. standards in consideration, so the table was 1cm bigger than the door opening. so we thought all we had to do was to remove the door, but that didnt help. so we attempted to force the table through the door. i was on the pushing side and phillip was on the pulling side. i dont rep 24 plate leg presses for nothing so, i put my legs to the test. as phillip was pulling the table, i was on the other side of the door. i sat down with my back against the table and my feet extended flat on the wall. then i imagined that i was on my last set of leg presses and with one push of the quads, the table busted through the door. we were happy. luckily, the door didnt suffer and damage, just indentations. another deal was moving the old mattresses back to the first floor. we were lazy to walk it downstairs, so we flipped the mattress over the railings of the stairs and threw it down on the living room with authority. its more tricky than you think it is. we took down a mirror, knocked down a candlelabra and almost broke porcelain on the way. this must have been my 6th time helping friends move. but this time it was just one on one, and we did this in less than 5 hours.

raNdom stuff:

old asian people gossip a lot. my grandmother is has gone through so much drama in her past that she now releases the steam on my parents. whenever my grandmother is just with my parents for ex: shopping, eating etc, she acts normal and friendly. but whenever another uncle or aunt is with them, my grandmother ignores my parents and talks crap and lies about how my parents mistreat and neglect her. she also says how my parents talk crap about other relatives. it could be that she is getting old and her brain is crazy or just straight out depressed. my parents dont know why she backstabs them and they have been putting up with this for a long time. until now, my parents decides to invite every uncle and aunt to our house and have a family meeting to straighten out the facts.

chucks birthday party was pretty cool. i thought it was his son's first birthday, but it ended up being his son's "birth" day party. chuck scofield is a funny guy and he makes the best cheeseburgers. i wasnt even full yet, i dunno why he stopped cooking. after we went to josh's farewell party. the cool thing about the peck's house is that there is a balcony overlooking city of industry and walnut and it hangs over a bonfire pit. so these teens were congregating around the bonfire pit. on the balcony were food items, candy, nuts etc. so letting my immaturity go wild, me jay, jerry, decided to hurl the jellybeans and nuts at these highschoolers around the bonfire. helpless, these kids just took the heat. daryn gallaugher was my primary target and i hit him so much that he was immuned to the annoyance.

i walked in the hall and there i see maritza, looking HOT as usual. i sat next to her and when i was about to talk to her, a dumb white boy walks in sits right in between us. im gonna kill him.

my credit card limit is now $1300. wow.

this weekend, i became a toddler again, following my parents, sister, aunt, little cousin, and grandma to shopping malls, supermarkets, restaurants and asian places asking them to buy stuff. on sunday, we went to eat dim sum at a new chinese restaurant. it was ok, not as bad as the other chinese restaurant because it actually tried to implement total quality management. for example, dim sum is usually served from carts, but this time you had to request it and they will cook it fresh for you. after, we went to the brea mall and i happened to walk by the guess store. there was a manican wearing some nice clothes and i wanted it. so i tried on some clothes on and my aunt bought a pair of jeans and a long sleeve shirt for me. i wanted another shirt but they didnt have my size. i called around and the beverly center had it. after the mall, i went to walmart, loaded up on my makeup and hair stuff. then we went to my sisters apt and chilled and went to red lobster for dinner. whenever my aunt comes with us to eat, its always hardcore. she orders the most expensive platters, but to her its nothing because she is a billionaire in hong kong and im not exagerrating. she is super humble, because when you look at her she doesnt wear any jewlery, has the same clothes from 10 years ago, and drives a 1990's buick regal. but to family, she buys everyone things and treats everyone out to dinner. you can tell she is rich only hong kong because she has 2 mansions with private roads on a hilltop, and maids and butlers. and in hong kong, to even buy a regular sized house is so expensive beacuse of the limited land space and overpopulation.

the next day after was similar. we went to a chinese restaurant to eat lunch and went to the beverly center to pick up my shirt at the guess store. i was pretty sure i was gonna pay for it, but then it was like a 5 minute tug-o-war and she just had to buy it for me. she even picked out another shirt and threw it in. i felt bad, but i will buy her daughter some nice things later on. we left that place and went to santa monica promenade and saw some crazy acrobatics and dog shows. we spent about 4 hours there and left at sunset.
