over the past 2 weeks, i got a chance to watch zodiac and 300.

zodiac: a movie based on true events about a serial killer whos identity is still unknown today. what i find funny about our justice system is how even a suspect with a smoking gun cannot be put behind bars unless there is some sort of biological evidence linking the crime and the suspect. i mean, fuck, this movie is beyond just a "smoking gun" pointing to the killer. in addition theres a match in footprints, a match in glove size, a match in wearing the same watch, the suspects interest in zodiac symbols.... and still, our good ole justice system simply labels this as "coincidental". 7/10

300: if you have a taste for blood and an interest in ancient mythological warfare, youll probably enjoy this film. this film's plot is so simple, it cuts out all the bullshit. so simple, i can compare the plot to watching a 2-hour boxing match. instead of watching rocky vs. drago, you have spartans in one corner and persians in the other and boom...you get a fight. it seems like 99% of the hard work in producing this film was spent on purchasing fake blood and making sure that all the spartans had less than 10% bodyfat. 6/10
