a spontaneous trip to vegas happened friday where i only had $200 to spend. so i had to carefully allocate the limited funds. i decided to spend 40% on food and 60% on clubs since i havent been to one in a long time. i wanted the ibiza feeling to hop from one club to another till the sunrises and something i cant do in LA because of my parental restrictions due to my proneness to more injury. i promised myself to party hardy regardless if my brain wants to knock out. after a long drive friday night, the first afterhours was at Drai's; a noteable club due to its long accumulated reputation. Times have changed, and Drai's has succumbed to a meager 20 x 40" dancefloor of a cockfestival. Never again will i go. Call friday a night.
Next day was the usual tour amongst the most lavish casinos: bellagio, mandalay, caesars, and paris. The night brought us to the venue of RA. Music is very important to me. With a gut feeling that the music of RA would not suffice me, i had low hopes of it being sugar coated. It turns out that RA features one of the largest dancefloors in vegas with a wide variety of music ranging from rock, trance, house, hip-hop, and top-40. Trance, as my favorite dance music, i lasted for a good couple hours there. So Club RA, receives a passing grade.
Next stop, the real afterhours! Stan McQuay highly recommends this club from his tiesto experience couple weeks ago. And i barely missed out last month on the most powerful djs with names such as: armin van buuren, paul van dyk, paul oakenfold, BT, ferry corsten, sandra collins, and tiesto! Unfortunately, how did i not know about these kings of trance music spinning there!? This place is ICE; ran by the European producers of GODS KITCHEN. this is as close as i can get to the real Ibiza scene, from the starry decors on the ceiling to the random blasts of cold, white fog. i danced till the sun came up.

woops! i meant to take a pic of her face.
