interesting, chinko de mayo and the 50th anniversary of disneyland are on the same day. i thought there would be double celebrating of mexicans and disney fans at disneyland but nope, we are americans. i finally walked to the other side of california disney. it was bigger than i thought. i rode on the river rapids and thought it was fun, but it sucked when the curves were designed on purpose to get you wet and made the raft spin like crazy. im still spinning right now. disneyland was so packed with people i couldnt walk anywhere but managed to take advantage of the rides as on lookers gazed at fireworks. hands down, astro blasters is the best ride. you sit on a car and get to shoot targets collecting points. then your picture is taken as you have that serious look on your face trying to shoot fake enemies. that picture could be emailed to you for free. i finally found a buffet at disneyland! located at the new hotel, it was on!

just cant let go of my roots. it was reunion for me and the western scene tonight. i had a blast at the brandin' iron. i dont remember how many times i said "DAMN SHE IS HOT!!!". 95% is white and 60% are girls there. so the guy/girl ratio is unbelievable. i was nervous stepping back on the maple floor because the last time i line danced was in 2002. but once i got on the floor, my memory came back. the sad thing about this club is how the crowd turned into the "im cool, cuz i have a dirt bike/raised truck" type of deal. most of the original country folks have migrated to a new place. other than that, girls are rocking. next week more fun to come.

my face got sunburnt. i stood in the sun today from 10am - 4pm. i went to the AMA Superbike racing at the california speedway. if i had a bike, i would pay the $10 and ride on the track. hundreds of people brought their bikes and i was tempted into getting back on one. like always there were girls there and also many rednecks. it was no surprise that matt mladin would win. hes the devil.

damn, hiking was a bitch, but a fun one. the freakin satellite map was inaccurate unless my sense of direction was innaccurate on an empty stomach. picture this, its the start of spring season with mustard plants 10 feet high, spiky thorny plants everywhere you step, and fresh cowpies like landmines scattered among the floor. it was like the middle of the jungle. to make things worse, you can hear thousands of bees around you. we had no choice but to make our own trail and wade our way through the towering weeds. hiking on 2 bad knees didnt help also. the occasional slipping was not good. after making wrong turns and hiking up a 40 degree slope for an hour, we reached the summit and encountered a family of cattle. there was daddy, mommy and calf. not to mention, a fully-grown bull with horns madogging us. good thing we had guns, BB guns that is. so dont mess with us. it was hike, rest, and shoot around. after an hour and half, we made it to the radar tower. all graphittied up. everything had been demolished, only concrete posts that used to hold up the radars were there. by that time we were already dying. the missile pad was about 200 feet below us, and we figured we'd go there another day.
